This ‘Better with Friends’ Gin & Grin afternoon, is aimed at men and women over 35, who are looking for genuine friendships. Whether you find you have; outgrown old friendships, are new to Brisbane, are too introverted to meet new people unassisted, have no idea where to meet new friends, feel isolated after becoming a Mum/Dad, or you just want to add some new friends to your social circle, this event is for you.

Ideally, we find it works best if you attend solo, as this will ensure you are open and fully present to the possibility of all the new friendships that are presented to you. But if you want to bring a friend or two, that is no problem. We also find it is a fun event for couples looking to meet new friends.

Your host will be there to welcome you and settle your nerves as you enter into the function space. Once inside you will be directed to a table, where you will be paired with some new friendly faces and taken on a seated journey, through four award-winning gins, while hearing stories from the stills and some thoughtful pairing notes. Think of this as a version of a distillery tour, but with the production areas on full display.

There will be short breaks between the tastings to give you time to enjoy some canapes and get to know each other, at a casual, relaxed pace. At the end of the event there will be time to mingle as a group too. There is also direct access to a fully stocked bar, to allow you to purchase additional drinks as you please.

The event will end around 3pm, however you are welcome to stay on and chat for an hour or so, and there are also plenty of bars, cafes and clubs around, should you want to kick on with your newfound besties.
